Everyone loves a nice, refreshing drink, especially during the hot summer days. This iced tea is made with fresh strawberries, giving the tea a delicious, fruity taste. It’s perfectly sweet and thirst-quenching. Try mixing things up by adding raspberries or blackberries, too!
Ingredients:
- 8 Lipton tea bags
- 1 cup water, plus water to boil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- Ice
Instructions:
In a medium-sized saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the tea bags, then let them steep in the water for 5 minutes.
In a small saucepan, boil the cup of water and sugar. Stir, until the sugar dissolves.
Put the sliced strawberries in a large bowl. Pour the syrup over the strawberries, and stir until all the strawberries are coated. Let sit for 20-30 minutes.
Pour the strawberries and syrup, and the tea into a large pitcher. Add 2-3 cups of ice, and stir until combined.
Serve chilled, and enjoy!
Makes 2 quarts of tea.

Sounds perfectly light and refreshing! And I love strawberries…
Thank you!! 🙂
I’m loving the strawberry theme you have this week. First daiquiris (yum!) and now strawberry iced tea (double yum!). I made some strawberry lemonade the other day which lasted all but a few seconds. I think I’m going to try this tea now. It looks super refreshing.
Thanks so much! We’re trying strawberry lemonade next! 🙂
